May I be the first to nominate Pella, IA for 1A Pella is home to the Pella Corporation, who make windows and doors. Their other big factory is located in… Murray, Kentucky. So my new favorite cospiracy theory is that excellent small school bands are caused by a secret cabal of window manufacturers. I now secretly hope they both do this show next season www.gpgmusic.com/marching-band/stained-glass/

I would love to see William Mason start budging into the top 2 of AAAA. They already began to take some captions away (ex. 2022 nats semis GE) from Avon, Carmel, and Broken Arrow. If they keep this energy and those beautiful shows up I could see them taking an eagle sooner than later.

If they do finish first, it will also be another FIRST for Marian. They would become the first school in BOA History to win a national championship in three different classes. No guarantees and a long way to go but it’s plausible.

While it may be a little more of a gray area, Avon IN won Class AA in 2002, Class AAA in 2008 and Class 4A in 2009, 2010 and 2016.

What are chances that eventually KY takes both A and AA in one year, obviously AA needs to grow a bit for this to happen.

Bridgeland and Cedar Park are a possibility Unless Bridgeland can beat Avon, Carmel, AND William Mason, I don’t see them ever winning a class championship at Grand Nationals.

Mason is very much overdue for a Class AAAA champion title That AND taking Kevin home. once it happens they'll be the 2nd band from Ohio to do so and the first since 1992 when Centerville took the title

That AND taking Kevin home. once it happens they'll be the 2nd band from Ohio to do so and the first since 1992 when Centerville took the title Ok, I have to correct this a little, sorry. Class 4A did not exist until 2009, so no Ohio band has ever won a 4A title. In 1992 Centerville did not win the class 3A title. They were edged out by Plymouth-Canton (the class titles were based on Prelims at that time as Semi Finals did not exist yet). In Finals, Centerville pulled ahead and won the Grand National Title. In 1994, although they finished 4th in GN Finals, Westerville South won the 3A Title, making them the only Ohio band at this time to have won a Class Title other than 1A or 2A.
