Currently, there are 11 bands enrolled in this regional. The maximum amount of bands that can be enrolled is 32. Curiously, there currently is no priority enrollment deadline listed for this regional.

Yup, that’s exactly what I’m saying. *sarcastic side eye* What I mean is that this show doesn’t seem like it will have as much competitive depth as it has had in previous seasons. Bands that travel far to come to this regional have always added a little bit of spice to the lineup. I’m not discounting the local bands, but it is just a fact that most of the bands that have placed in the top half of finals here have been bands not at all local to the Midland area. That said, there has been noticeable growth in those bands over the last few years, and I know they will only get better! |
