is anyone glitching? Also, Signal Mountain sounds amazing. Love the show. I go into each weekend thinking in what way could Box5 possibly screw things up this time. While I'm not surprised something is happening, I'm always shocked they have the means in finding new ways to create a terrible experience

Wow! Walton is small this year. That threw me as well. The Cobb County bands seems to be trending this way. Not sure what is/has happened in Cobb County.

Lambert sounds very good playing Tarpon 2016, but the show seems really uninspired other than the music. But they’re good

Soloist and Small Ensemble features for Cass were outstanding! The GE is certainly there. They do need to rein in the ensemble sound some (sounded a little out of control at a few moments), but give it some more love & cleaning and this show has the potential to do very well at Grand Nats.

Cass has a nice package! I think they’re def in the running for best band in all of GA this year

DB is really achieving. The uniforms are stunning. But I have to wonder if they were worried about giving the kids too much content, that has to be one of their easiest shows in a while - with lots of soloists (soloists are great).

But I have to wonder if they were worried about giving the kids too much content, that has to be one of their easiest shows in a while - with lots of soloists (soloists are great). Interesting. I wasn't able to watch the stream all that much, but I was listening and one of my first thoughts was "wow this brass book is a lot more involved than in the past." Lots of double tongue/ fast articulation in both high and low brass, lots of mello technique. Some 3 against 2 simultaneously in the brass feature in the opener.

More bands should do the marching jazz thing, if the kids have the chops for it. So much wonderful music in that tradition, and it really helps you stand out. Nice show Hoover!
