Hey there. I wanted to create this thread as a place to ask about shows you can't find easily on the internet that you really want to see. These shows can be recent or fairly old, it's up to you. For example, I don't have the BOA: San Antonio DVD from 2016 and really want to see a video of my band's performance from that year and the only people that have seen it are the directors and all of those people who were watching it live in some format or have the DVD. What I want to ask is if there is anyway somebody could PM me a way to see an archived recording if it must be kept secret because of Flo or the likes, or if there was anyone there live that distinctly remembers the performance and describe it/ how it went for me. I encourage others to follow suit in both asking and answering these questions as I am sure others will want to read the descriptions or see the videos that can be made public. Thank you so much, and can we please start off with someone answering the question I asked above? For some reason that is the only video from our recent BOA record that I can't seem to find and it's one I really want to see. Edit: Apparently I'm not skilled enough to copy and paste just what I need and nothing else

If you are looking for James Madison 2016, an earlier performance in October is on YouTube under NEISD Fall Festival 2016 James Madison

Oh I know. I specifically want the BOA performance. I have all of the videos from the rest of the season, including the featured performance at the Battle of the Bands festival that year.

If you have/find a BOA SA recording of your 2017 show, I'd be very interested getting that too.

I was lucky to catch the tail end of Google Videos before Google shut it down in favor of Youtube. Back then, copyright wasn't a major thing so it was essentially wild west on those two websites. Consequently, many, many BOA videos got uploaded to that website. I hoarded a number of these links on my personal Facebook much to the annoyance of everyone I knew. Unfortunately, Google took Videos before I could get around to watching them. I'm still pretty bummed out about that- Youtube was, of course, THE website to go to watch all these shows, but the overlap of BOA shows between the two websites were pretty small.
Skramp actually used to host a small website around late-'90s-early-'00s-ish that had .mp3s and .mp4s of many BOA shows. Out of consideration to BOA & MFA, he took down the website as internet use began rising significantly. Yes, anyone born after 2000, this was a thing- the internet was a weird but wholesome place then. Fun little tidbit for this thread.
Anyway, I largely focused on GN Finals shows after 2000. Some brief notes: 1. I know some of the shows are already out there floating around. I don't need to be told about these. I would prefer a better quality than those currently out. 2. The 2009 shows are struck out because I have the BOA GN DVD for those shows. However, they're not out on the internet, so I included them. 3. I bolded my current white whales. 4. I have an idea for a future project, but it's not going to happen unless I can get access all the shows post-2000. Hence... I really, really would welcome any tips on those shows. 5. If you happen to have BOA DVD's from GN Finals and are in the Indy area, let me know. I'd like to get in touch with you. I'm open to nearly every year except 2009.
My wishlist: Crockett 1993 Center Grove 1995 Carmel 2001 Marian Catholic 2001 Tarpon Springs 2001 Center Grove 2001 Marian Catholic 2002 Carmel 2002 Center Grove 2002 Carmel 2003 Centerville 2003 Marian Catholic 2003 Tarpon Springs 2003 Marian Catholic 2004 Carmel 2005 Avon 2005 (#1 white whale) Marian Catholic 2005 Centerville 2005 Center Grove 2005 Lawrence Central 2006 Carmel 2006 Marian Catholic 2006 The Woodlands 2007 Lawrence Central 2007 Center Grove 2007 (#2 white whale) Lawrence Central 2008 (#3 white whale) Carmel 2008 Tarpon Springs 2008 (Looking for the Finals version, with the outro) Centerville 2008

Captain Ahab here... i have been hunting whales for a few decades now, and have quite the trophy room. I've been wanting to partake in some sort of Tsukiji style fish market where fellow fisherman can trade catches of the day.
for whale sounds, i have all of GN finals from 1998-2004. i also have many select recordings from '93-'97.
for whale vids, i have many white whales, including Avon '05 '07, Carmel '01, Marian '00 '01 '02 '08 '10 '12, Center Grove '95-'99, LD Bell '01 '03, PCEP '00 '01 (finals ending, full band in box), Pomona '96 (a must see).
also many others, but i think they are easily availble in your global grocers freezer section.

I recently found a 2005 DVD for Grand nationals, when I get it onto my computer I will send it out.
