Sorry to be the downer here, but I'm fairly sure this is either Jacksonville or Troy. Neither were on the original schedule reveal.

The area around Sanford Stadium would be a logistical nightmare for bands, spectators, volunteers, and staff. It's nice that the stadium is on campus and they handle huge crowds for football, but it would be far from ideal for a marching band competition. |

Atlanta is really is the best city for a southeast championship and it was a show that really helped cautapult many bands onto further success for many many years. Tarpon, Wando, Kennesaw Mountain, even DB. The south doesn’t really have that many consistent regionals now. Orlando and Johnson City being exceptions |

From what I've been told, MB charges more for rental than all the other Super Regional sites combined. It is a shame there's really nowhere else in the region.

Based on public Facebook posts, it looks like Susan L. Smith is leaving Troy. That might possibly have something to do with it. |
