Good on them for adding more much needed 2 day regionals! There were too many waitlisted groups that didn't get in this past season. Now here's to hoping they actually stream more, if not all, events.. *prays*

Hmmmmm……no Houston Regional this year. Very sad they can’t find an event partner there. 😳.

Decided to take a calendar peek & I saw The Woodlands is making the trip up to Dayton again this coming season! Guess they made the switch so we'll really be seeing them every year up there now!

WC is such a mediocre site. Um, have you ever been on WC campus Um, yeah. Multiple times for the guard show as both a spectator and in the competition flow. Also for numerous other events. The competition flow is a mess, the parking situation isn’t great, the spectator experience is just ok. The location is a bit rough and tumble and can be a pain to access. Just thinking through where I’ve been for shows (all of them in the competition flow most as a spectator)… Good Avon Center Grove Greenwood (though I hate the 90 degree exit hallway) Greenfield Central Westfield (though competitor exit and load/unload parking is crap) Mediocre Decatur Central HSE Noblesville Northview (really subpar but gets a show through the name) Franklin Central (WGI should really move that percussion regional) Pendleton Heights Warren Central

WC isn’t even one of the best 5 location in Indiana. I’m not saying I’m the most experienced person on here, but I’ve run through the flow at a number of places both marching band and all 3 indoor disciplines. And yes, I’ve been spoiled by being in Indiana.

Both in the fall and in the winter. Avon, Grove, Gc, and FC are literally world class host sites for the winter. I've never been to places that flow better aside for maybe Centerville's winter shows and like.. WGI Dayton area events. With that said, WC has some good facilities in certain aspects. But it really is like 7th or 8th on the list in Indiana. But if there is Indiana does well? It is high school gymnasiums!

A lot of schools in the Indy area (Avon, Brownsburg, etc) are under major expansion and renovation, so it should be interesting to see how contest flow and logistics improve once all is done.

I've never been to Plainfield oddly enough. I also forgot Brownsburg. I have been there multiple times for guard, but never percussion/winds. Other than the construction based parking hassles, it has always been good.

Yeah, the construction will be ongoing for at least another year, but when it is complete there will be an extensive new fieldhouse with additional warmup space. The plans for another year after that include more bleachers in the football stadium and an outdoor practice field and storage building for marching band.
