During the season premiere show I mentioned that Boston's show contains echoes of Reading Buccaneers' 2015 show, "Twist It" (which is one of the few shows outside of Velvet Knights to make me laugh out loud). Watching BAC '24 again now, I also see a connection to the Cavaliers' 2006 show, "Machine," as well as, yes, Velvet Knights' untitled 1984 show (the "All Night Long" section).

Usually BD is my favorite but this year I think Boston has the better show. Will it win? Probably not!
I wish Boston was coming to Colorado with this show instead of the white whale

Boston's show for me has something of the heady feel of some Blue Devils productions of about 15 years back, like "Constantly Risking Absurdity" and "Through a Glass Darkly."

Maybe to improve their public image by doing some good deeds, CrowdStrike could sponsor the rest of Boston Crusaders' season.

And now I see that Boston's social media team is having some fun with today's big news:

I believe tonight marks the first time the Boston Crusaders have ever outscored the Blue Devils. And yet something about Boston's show leaves me a bit cold. I felt similarly about Cavaliers' 2008 show, "Samurai" (which I nonetheless think has the best drill ever).
The guard work at the end of the ballad is very cool.

Complete agreement. I am generally a fan of BAC and not of the Devils… but this isn’t the show I would have expected to do the trick. I don’t dislike it, but I’m not in love like I have been with other productions of theirs.

A challenge with "glitch" as a theme is that the corps is striving not to make mistakes.
I like that moment in Blue Devils' 2008 show when the guard winds up as if to make a big toss but then just drops their rifles.
