Here's the story on DCI's website: Directors adopt new competitive format for 2025 DCI All-Age Championship.
It's more or less what DCA used to have: Prelims on one day -- they're calling that the "DCI All-Age Class Championships" -- and Finals on the next, and it's also a little bit like what BOA does, in that class champions will be determined in the Prelims and then then the top twelve regardless of class will compete in the Finals. The first event is Friday. "Corps that do not advance will be invited to perform as part of the All-Age division of the SoundSport International Music & Food Festival presented by Jazz Wealth also on Saturday."
There were 13 corps in All-Age Championships on Saturday morning this year. The first performance was 10 a.m., there were two ten-minute intermissions, the last performance was at 1:44 p.m., and the awards started at 2:07 p.m., with the stadium due to be cleared by 3:00 p.m. to set up for DCI World Championship Finals that started (with welcome and exhibition performances) at 5:30 p.m. This change adds 17 minutes back to the schedule, which can be used either for more intermission time (I would vote for one intermission of 20 minutes) or to end earlier for the turnaround.
But the number of All-Age corps is expected to grow next year, and the first performance in the DCI World Championship Semifinals on Friday this year started at 1:30 p.m. I wonder how early the All-Age performances are going to have to start on Friday.

The other news in that article is that the minimum number of members in All-Age has been increased from 26 to 40, and thus the subdivisions will be:
40-60 members -- All-Age A Class
61-85 members -- All-Age Open Class
86-128 members -- All-Age World Class
My recollection is that prior to the Covid-19 pandemic, the minimum number of members in DCA's lower division was 35. This year, my count had Skyliners a few short at 37 members and everyone else comfortably over that limit except for Columbus Saints, who had 29 members (and some of them were doing very little for most of the show). Saints have been participating in DCA since 2018, and they've impressed at times presenting shows with very small numbers, but they never seemed to build -- and there have been similarly-sized high school marching bands that have been better, so I think it's past time for them to find a way to grow their membership
