Yeah I doubt either Nation Ford or Fort Mill is confirmed. I also doubt Wando is attending. Byrnes probably is though.

Possibly John Overton H.S., TN? It's on their calendar but also it says "not attending." I figure they would just delete the event if that's true, but maybe not. Thought I would still add in just case.

Add:
Ninety-Six H.S., SC
Really excited for this one, they made their BOA premier last year at Gaffney and placed phenomenally at 13th overall out of 23. I believe they are one of the top Class A programs in the country and hope they continue doing BOA and eventually go to Nats. They'd be a lock for semis easily and would also have a very solid chance at taking the class championship.

If they get the panel with two Kentucky A bands it may not work out for them, but 96 is most definitely a contender.

I'm surprised to see Tarpon Springs is going to be attending this regional. Are they not going to Orlando?

I'm trying to think of what makes a school from Pittsburgh think "let's travel to Johnson City and finish 26th"? Lynchburgmwould have made a lot more sense but Maybe it was pimba conflicts

That was Battlefield H.S., VA at the Gaffney regional last year - they placed 19th. I'm a little bit surprised to see Gateway making the trek as well. They've been a decent BOA band for a while now, but haven't really made a big splash, especially against the powerhouse bands of their state (Norwin/Kiski). Last season, they placed 14th at BOA Canton, and won class AAA at the PIMBA State Championships. I'm not sure whether the scores across classes are comparable there, but by score they placed fourth overall, behind Moon Area, Norwin, and Kiski. I'd say that they could have some potential, but they will definitely have to prove it.

Gateway was my first school. Their program is what it is. They don't have the demographics to make much of a move, I don't think. Maybe the indeed chose the indoor stadium.option and a chance to see some different bands.

The year Winston-Salem was at the race track, there were a ton of bands from Richmond and Northern Virginia in attendance. Even though Bassett was probably the closest finalist (at least in terms of drive time duration), Madison definitely wasn't. I imagine that was a lengthy trip for them. If I'm not mistaken, Battlefield is from Loudoun (or maybe it's Arlington?) either way super far north in the state of VA. Any bands from NoVA traveling to Johnson City will travel for quite a while.
Bassett was always a guarantee for this regional simply because they have history there (many years as class A champions & finalists in the late 90s/early 00s) and also that the HD there is an ETSU grad.
I'm not totally sure I'm counting out Gateway. There have been many surprise finalists at the W-S/Gaffney show over the years (more often than not from terrible judging, but that's beside the point) so I'm curious to see what we're going to get.
Kennesaw Mountain in its current iteration is not a lock for the top half of finals.
Given the tradition started in 2016 & 2017, I wonder who will miss finals here and then make national semifinals.

Battlefield is from Northern Prince William County - just south of Loudoun. Still a hike, even if that shaved off a few minutes.

You can totally count out Gateway safely unless it's a shallow field like Monroeville used to get.
