Never 1am-ish if you stay for everything. I highly recommend going back to the hotel and watching awards on YouTube if you can because trying to leave after awards is like the hunger games And the speeches. So many speeches. Oh, eff that. I can tolerate college marching bands, cadences and retreats, but I will not tolerate speeches. Going to take the other poster's advice and peace out after the last band (or earlier) |

These Leander kids are clearly just relaxing and having a BLAST with this final run. I am so absolutely thrilled for this group! I know they've had a rough(er) few seasons and I bet tonight just feels like icing on the cake for all the work they've done.

Man Leander sounded so good tonight. So much power and control from the entire ensemble. Soloists had such a beautiful tone too. This was the first time i'm watching multi-cam and I didn't actually know the lenses in the glasses props were spinning at the end, but very cool!

I have a policy of always watching finals on multi-cam, because seeing the joy on the performers is such a highlight of the season.

Like Leander, Castle sounds 100% relaxed and focused, less tension in their sound than Semis. This is a perfect run so far. These kids are just enjoying the moment and are totally snapped in together as a unit. I am loving this from Castle!!
