Gosh Castle. That was INCREDIBLE!! I’ve loved that show since the first time I watched it, and many others agree! I’m so happy you all are getting the roses you deserve! Bravo!

Wow that Castle clarinet soloist was amazing! Also finally got to see their uniforms up close on multi-cam. I honestly had no idea they were wearing purple berets until now and those black cloaks are so shiny. Fantastic show overall from Castle this year; i think visual design has improved a lot from what I remember from them in the past and they still play fabulously and with power

Lest you forget: Death, taxes, and Avon getting a medal.* *Offer not available in San Antonio. 😉 Ha! Now that brings back memories. What a killer SASR Finals that year. I was sitting near a very worried Avon parent when that placement was announced. She panicked and couldn't wait to get her kid on the phone to verify the band was okay with the results. She needn't have worried. He reassured her the kids were all ecstatic that they had just received their highest score of the year and that outweighed missing the Bronze Medal. Ya' gotta be resilient if you want to run the BOA Gauntlet year after year! |

Absolute perfection, Castle! Those kids just gave their whole heart and soul to what the staff and writers handed to them! Welcome back to the Finals Castle and I bet its your highest placement ever.

CASTLE!!!!! What in the actual f*ck was that?! I have loved them all weekend, and I don't think I had any idea they had that beast level in them. That was totally focused, relaxed, locked in, and flawless. I mean flawless. Soloists, guard, full ensemble, small ensembles....how did your group find that next notch??
I'm just gonna throw this out there: pending CP's performance, Castle could easily vault into the top 6 with that run. I try not to homer much as I haven't lived in Indiana in a solid decade but damn....you made the entire state proud with that one, Castle.
I just cannot get over how good Castle was. Mind-blowingly good. What a run form them!

I'm not gonna lie, Leander & Castle were quite difficult to follow up, but Prosper gave a stellar performance. No question as to why they are here tonight. Much tighter run than Prelims. Not my favorite show but clean clean clean, with giant brassy, edgy sounds. Great performance and congrats on Finals berth #3, Prosper!! Well-earned!

Fantastic job, DB! I'll be honest, I wasn't entirely sold on this show from their early season even up through this weekend, but way to make me eat my words! Definitely a show that's grown on me the more I've seen it. Congrats again on a great finals run!

DOBYNS!!!!!!!! Loved it loved it loved it. I enjoyed that show on all 3 performances this weekend, but they laid it down on that one. Left nothing on the field. GN Finalist for the 6th time in a row, I hope the band, staff, & parents are BEYOND proud tonight! I had them in Finals anyway, but they demonstrated yet again that they clearly belonged on that field tonight.
Thank you, Dobyns-Bennett!! What an electric last performance!
