Biggest band by far was Mill Creek. Boiling Springs right now is 2nd in terms of size. I understand that. I was asking about what is being seen in terms of band sizes.

Jackson County with a nice hebron 2019. Rough on the move but okay at hits.

How’re things holding up here? Because they’re not holding well in McAllen.

We are in the middle of awards right now. We're currently on a wait-and-see basis on the incoming thunderstorm forecast tonight.

Boiling Springs was the only band to not receive a prelims award, but I wouldn't be surprised to see them in the top half or close by.

The parents from Boiling Spring said they got here right at warm ups. Boiling Springs was the only band to not receive a prelims award, but I wouldn't be surprised to see them in the top half or close by.

Easleys prop I think is Kennesaw Mountains from 2019

Easley far and away the best band in the bottom 5, that ballad pacing went on too long imo. We only saw the opener and ballad. The drill seemed very cluttered at times but they sound very good

Walton is a great band, but i kinda liked pope better 🤷♂️ a little tough to tell over the webcast as Walton had more nuanced musical moments. Both had very watered down drill than typical.

I liked both Pope and Walton. Wish both were coming to Grand Nationals because I think they're both potential Semi-Finalists. Does Bocook write for Pope because I was getting all kinds of Avon vibes from their music?

I really don’t know who will win this, everyone has incomplete shows. I think Mill Creek, Walton, and Pope are honestly about even.

And Mill Creek was on fire tonight! Brass had a few heroes, but that woodwind section is awesome! Tough call on tonight's champion, but top 3 should easily be Pope, Walton, and Mill Creek.

Congrats to Walton HS, Georgia. A long time BOA competitor, this is their very first BOA regional title.

However small a regional may be, first weekends back never fails to be fun, especially with this one being our first step back into the marching world after a long hibernation. Super happy for the opportunity to participate in this event.
Congrats to Walton! Well-deserved win.

Anyone wanna tell me how Walton was last night? I didn't get to see their run and I know they won overall so it would be great to get a little recap

Anyone wanna tell me how Walton was last night? I didn't get to see their run and I know they won overall so it would be great to get a little recap Honestly felt like a very typical Walton show tbh. It was strong for it being early season, as Walton usually is. They were a touch smaller than usual but still big. It was a sweeney todd show like Kennesaw Mountain 2013 (actually it was very much like that show in many ways.) It was honestly tough to gauge ensemble sound, but Mill Creek did have some stick outs as someone else alluded too but were maybe louder. Drill was good for Walton, although the top 3 especially Pope, had safe drill. I thought Mill Creek might be better in individual visual. Waltons show fit well with Halloween which I like.
