Oh yeah, HB is very VERY OMEA drill design. But I thought they were pretty clean still and the theme translated well still. I could easily see them flipping and think it does come down to Mus GE which in this instance I think is going to be judges preference. Between just those two, I split it HB music, DC visual and vis ge....music ge...coin flip.

Was only able to catch a few of the bands, but here's my predictions from the ones I did watch:
1)Lakota West 2)Worthington Kilbourne 3)Decatur Central 4)Milford 5)George Rogers Clark 6)Hilliard Bradley
Music- Lakota West Visual- Lakota West (not sure since I didn't pay attention to visual as much, but I think Decatur Central and Kilbourne both have a shot) GE- Lakota West

A lot of bands fixed a lot of things tonight and as a whole, everyone performed better. The shows made more sense when the electronics worked as well tonight. So with that said, here are my final rankings before awards!

Lakota sweep, but I have a feeling Moon Area moves up a bit from prelims.
Edit: Swing and a miss! Congrats to all the bands.

Congratulations to Lakota West HS, OH on their very first BOA regional title.
I also have to give congratulations to two bands who I competed with way back in my years in BOA; George Rogers Clark and New Philadelphia.

How does one conclude that it has been 42 years between participations based on a comment that it's great to have New Phil participate this year as well as in 1979? The post clearly states "has been competing...for a long time."
If the information came from the school, shame on them for not knowing.

The post clearly states "has been competing...for a long time." If the information came from the school, shame on them for not knowing. Because of this line. "We're thankful to have had them with us again - 42 years later - for the 2021 BOA Central Ohio Regional last weekend". I can see where it would seem ambiguous.
