I think it's safe to assume that The Woodlands will be at this regional. I'm curious to see who else will attend this regional and if it might attract some bands away from the Austin Regional.

I think that’s a possibility. Claudia doesn’t have a crown to defend at Austin for the first time in three years so that motivations out the window. I don’t doubt judging is of the same quality at both regionals especially at this ones inaugural year and historically Johnson has attended the inaugurations of many new regionals. This one looks to be a little further than Austin but I can’t imagine that stopping them if they do commit to this one. |

Could be wrong of course! 3 1/2 hour drive to Conroe, or 1 1/2 hrs to Austin? I agree and don’t see them doing Conroe over Austin. But... CTJ doesn’t always do what makes sense to the rest of us.  and they’ve done pretty good with how they decide things so who knows!? 🤷♀️ 😂 |

It looks like Keller Central has this regional on their calendar. Any word on Fossil Ridge? They're planning on making a return to BOA next year, and they have a TBD contest listed on September 25th, but on other days of other BOA regionals like Dallas and etc. they have local contests scheduled. Could we possibly see them join KC at BOA Conroe? That would be really cool tbh |

Also, Ronald Reagan will not be attending this regional either.
Friendswood will not be attending because they are running that competition and perform in exhibition.
