I believe it's probably just because they're having so many issues on their website right now. They likely underestimated the amount of traffic their website would be receiving today. I've been one of the people scrambling behind the scenes of a live event because something isn't working... and it's not fun. Lol. I can imagine it's stressful, and I'm sure there's a ton that goes into it that we don't see/think about. I'm just shocked by how frequently there have been issues with the streaming services we've had over the years after 20+ years of various streaming services of these events. I appreciate the fact they're finding a solution via Youtube for now, but there is no way I would have known if not for one kind individual posting here mentioning it. I imagine there are tons of parents/other fans at home right now who have no idea.

Thank you to the people behind Box5 for putting it on YouTube for now! I’m sure they’re dealing with tons of traffic issues and complaints. I’m already more satisfied with the quality of the stream compared to the last few years of Flo. Things aren’t always going to go smoothly the first year being the main outlet for at-home viewers.

Yeah, I had no idea. I don’t go on FB much anymore. An email would have been nice. Luckily I went to N Houston finals in person.

I wouldn't be surprised if we get the same problem tomorrow lol..
Why did MFA/BOA drop Flomarching in the first place anyway? They were pretty bad with a lot of things but it seems like Box5 is a downgrade in every way.
About that, does anyone know when Box5's contract with MFA/BOA runs out? I know Flo renewed theirs with DCI/WGI for another like 6 years, so unless MFA/BOA is trapped with Box5 Media for a few years I could see a return to Flo if Box5 doesn't fix their horrible website and prices soon

Good morning. Long time lurker who finally joined. Is anyone else having an issue with the app on Apple TV? My log in fails each time. I have tried removing and reinstalling the app and I also changed my password with no luck. Everything works fine on my iPad. I have reached out to Box5 but thought that I would check here.

Last weekend I had a difficult time streaming. It felt pretty glitchy just using the website and there was a lot of buffering. The footage would be pixelated at times and the audio felt off. We also couldn’t use the screen mirroring through our tv as it would just kick us off every 10 seconds (That might’ve been an issue with internet connection but I’m not sure)
Today, I’ve been using the actual roku app and haven’t had any problems so far! I’m hoping it will continue to run well for the rest of the season
