I was going down memory lane today....and realized that I am missing some DVDs that I would like to add to my collection.
I am looking to get my hands on the 2002 and 2004 BOA GN Finals DVDs.
Does anyone know if anyone is selling those or know how I could purchase a copy?
I have looked at Mr Video online and couldn't find anything. I also looked at 800 Video Express but I think it went out of business?
Thanks!

Your best option will probably see if someone has them on a Google Drive to share with you. There are many on here who do (I do not have mine on a Google Drive). Perhaps someone who has them on a Google Drive will PM you if they have not already done so.

I have lots of old DVDs (2001-2013 GN Finals, plus semis from most years and quite a few regionals). Not looking to sell anything but I do have some recent holes I would love to fill if anyone happens to have anything.

I've been ripping Avon's shows from Youtube ever since the banhammer came down on music licensing which is the greatest crime that's happened in the musical arts. Which reminds me I need to update my collection. I think the last Avon show I have is 2016 so I got a few to capture.

For anyone who ever used Worldcat in college, you can search their database for all sorts of recordings. It can be a little tedious since there isn't a standardized cataloguing system for our subject matter, but if you use the right keywords under the right categories the search will dig some neat little gems up.
To those who've never used Worldcat, Worldcat is basically an interlibrary loan database where you can request to borrow materials from over 10,000 participating libraries all over the world. I have all the recordings I need (just about--there's a couple I'm still searching for) from the post-2001 digital age from friends and my own personal searching. But there's some VHS tapes in the Worldcat database that I have my eye on. I've borrowed books before through the service but never audio recordings. I also haven't ordered anything since the pandemic so have no idea how that would affect things either.
Btw, as a Texan I think it's pretty cool that there are libraries in other states that carry the UIL State Marching Finals in their collections (Both Vandercook College in Chicago and the University of Iowa library carry the 1998 UIL 5A State Finals VHS for example).

Very good info. Thanks for that. Back in the MBA years (late 1970s and early 1980s), Grand National Finals was placed onto a record (LPs). Of course these were audio recordings only. Many of those recordings have made their way into various online libraries. Formal VHS recordings of Grand Nationals began in 1979. So yes you could get either the VHS or the LP. Prior to that, I believe just some spectator home videos have survived. Most of those early VHS recordings have survived into private databases, many of which are probably also on some of these online databases. Also, of course other states carry UIL in their collections. Texas marching bands are awesome!
