Dallas area is really strong this year. Flower Mound’s show is yet another level for them in terms of creativity and music. Strong contender at Grand Nats, as is Marcus - beautiful show. And Hebron may sneak up and surprise everyone at State - music and marching difficulty and execution off the charts and best soloists I’ve heard this year. LISD schools elevating their shows this year. Bell, Keller, Coppell and Prosper are also really strong. Should be a great year, wide open competition between the regions!

It's a real shame Chocolate isn't going to Nats, right now Bacon seems to have it locked up. I'm excited for Colorful leaves in the next few weeks too! They love those late-season changes. |

I miss it already. 70s and 80s in November and sometimes December. 😭 Eh? Do you not live in TX anymore? We moved to NW Arkansas back in January. Now I have the luxury of being just a day’s drive to all my favorite Texas contests and the big finale in Indianapolis, and just a half day away from St. Louis. As sad as I was to leave Leander/Cedar Park, this fall has been an absolute blast for me so far! Next stop, San Antonio for 5A state and the Super Regional, then back home for a few days and then onward to Indy! 🤪🥳🥳 |
