The ofallon speakers are behind the box5 mics, so... guess you had to be there in person to hear the soloists

Not complaining, just curious as to why the trombone soloist was on the front sideline mic for the entire show, even when they weren’t being featured?

He has solos throughout the entire show, so working him back into the drill just to pull him back out just is not worth it. Same with soprano sax soloist. Both have little features throughout.

I think they could’ve taken a page out of Vista Ridge 2019s book and still have the main featured soloist moving around a bit instead of just standing idly. It doesn’t add much to the overall effect.

Why did an adult just run onto the field and pick something up and take it back to the sideline? Didn’t think that was allowed.

I'm sitting directly over that soloist. I believe he had a walking cast/splint/boot on his right foot.

Blue Springs was FANTASTIC!! I love the intensity of the show and the soloists are all so unbelievable. I'm always a sucker for a good saxophone solo, and the screamer was amazing to listen to. This is going to be a great production to watch at Grand Nationals.

I think both Blue Springs and O'Fallon had better runs last night. Blue Springs was still great though, the sax solo in the second movement is extremely entertaining. Hard to believe he's only 16.

This grain valley show has grown on me, close to their stairway to heaven show.

Wow! Coppell sounds so good! I didn’t know they were from Oklahoma 😂 (if you are watching the stream hopefully you notice)

Not my favorite Broken Arrow show, although the colors of their uniforms are so nice and they sound good as usual. I’m sure it’ll grow on me as they do!

Broken Arrow was insane. A little musical dirt in the last movement but overall absolutely phenomenal job

Once even cleaner by GN, that show absolutely has the potential to take some captions and the top spot. I like how the entire show is so fluid, musically. It's just like one 13-minute work.

Holy Broken Arrow...just wow. I'm at a loss for words. What an absolutely phenomenal show that, for me, is the frontrunner to win the Eagle now. The visual execution is so incredibly high while the music performance is on par with bands like Hebron and Vandegrift. I'm absolutely floored.

BA is so good! That opener was so in the pocket. The closer is tough listening responsibility wise

I will be the first to say that I don’t actually understand the design but I just know that it is performed at an extremely high level

It's not easy to go after a band like Broken Arrow but I think Coppell did a superb job. They've always had a spectacular music program but this year I think they've hit the mark on a visual program that matches. Love their uniforms and the colorfulness and playfulness of the production, which I think they pull off really well! I think they had some audio issues too but it wasn't extremely noticeable.

Is that Vista Ridges circle prop from their swan lake show? If it is then that would be the same prop The Mandarins used in 2018. If so then this means that not even a global pandemic could stop this prop from rolling on through marching shows every year nonstop.
