This is a general PSA to all wanting to post in the thread beyond this point. I understand the disappointment in not having the mass, but in light of the general political sentiment today and the fact we are about to begin GN in 3 days, I very much heavily discourage any discussion over the retreat in this thread. This isn't directed towards anybody at all. The mods and I've seen enough of this to know where it'll lead eventually. The decision is final. Roll with it. I understand. It is what it is. Just a shame that one of the main rewards of GN is now not going to happen.

After watching Flower Mound at state prelims just now, I’ll be so upset if they don’t win the General Effect award at nationals. Just spent two days at the super regional, but this comment made me buy a ticket for tomorrow just to see Flower Mound. Thanks a lot

Thanks a lot I love Hebron’s show, and I totally understand why FloMo has kept up with them this whole time after watching that show.

How’s the weather looking around the country? This might affect how much certain bands can clean in these final days.

Most of them are busy today and tomorrow with UIL and all of them have significant travel time to get to Indianapolis.

Can't speak for the rest of the nation, but it is beautiful in Southern Illinois rn, so I would assume a lot of the Midwest also has had pretty great weather as of the past few days.

I love Hebron’s show, and I totally understand why FloMo has been beating them consistently this whole time after watching that show. FIFY They did lose to Hebron in Area prelims fwiw. Also the scores between the two have been very thin in the two times they have competed this season (1 point both ways in Area and only .55 at BOA Dallas). Both organizations are very good and have done outstanding this season.

All I know is, anybody who beats what I saw from Hebron on Saturday must be absolutely incredible. And from the videos I've seen of Flower Mound over the course of this season, they qualify as such.

Hebron Saturday vs. Hebron almost a month ago is very different. Both have cleaned obviously, but I’d say Hebron made more drastic changes to their show to help in the GE department. It would’ve definitely been awesome to see the two go head to head for the SA title on Saturday! I have a lot of faith in Flower Mound to do some big things this weekend in Indy for sure. It’s an absolute treat of a show!

So is Flower Mound still doing art shows or does this Dr.Seuss show start a new era? Is Dr.Seuss technically an art show? I’m not sure.

One could argue poetry is a form of art

Sounds good for Marian. Marian would find a way to clean their show more in two weeks than any other band in the country even if a massive blizzard hit the Chicago area and their school caught on fire simultaneously.

One could argue poetry is a form of art Poetry is definitely art but this show seems a bit different from what FloMo did in the past, Wwhich is a probably a good thing imo. They're old art shows were probably some of my shows favorite of all time, but it is good for a band to evolve in style as time goes on so they don't go stagnate.

I love Hebron’s show, and I totally understand why FloMo has been beating them consistently this whole time after watching that show. FIFY It’s probably more respectful to keep it as originally posted, considering the slim margin of victory Flower Mound had at area a little more than a week ago where Hebron won prelims on the same day, where one judge decided it in the end. I think it’s deserved to say either show could top the other heading into UIL state finals tomorrow with how well Hebron’s performing Edit: my personal pick would be Hebron placing above them if I were to pick, can’t crown a winner from the two of them since there’s other State champion contenders and UIL is notoriously unpredictable.

But looking at that book it is completely understandable

Watching their performance on Friday in San Antonio prelims, there was still a decent amount of dirt visually near the end of Round Rock's show. They sound really good but I think that not having their full show on the field until late in the season ultimately hurt them more at San Antonio and UIL State. We'll see if they can turn it around here.

But once you're inside LOS you'll be very comfortable in short sleeves. Just don't pull any of that "I'll be in and out throughout the day" stuff. You'll catch a cold with all the cold/warm/cold/warm transitions. Don’t tell me how to live my life!! 🤣😂😆

Will the 'HornRank' team be running around with their gear on or has this evolved a bit more? Thanks. Some may be seen sporting HornRank gear, but some are working Event Staff or volunteering and as such will be wearing the appropriate shirts for their roles. I also expect to see some of them rocking some #TeamTexas paraphernalia during the weekend. I will be wearing my HornRank polo one day and my TeamTexas shirt another. I haven’t decided what to wear the third day yet, or what day I’m wearing any of the said shirts. 🤣
