Add?: McNeil H.S., TX (band calendar says they're hosting, do we think they'd compete too?)

Is it took early for predictions? I’m excited 😜 I mean hey, if we wanna do predictions, I'll throw out an entirely baseless one, Cedar Ridge medalling at this event. After a top half finish at San Antonio last year, and CTJ rumored to not be attending Austin, I think they have a pretty decent chance. In my book they finished last season as the second best band in the Austin area.

that would be awesome however cedar ridge is known to peak later in the season so im not sure if could see it. I think vista is gonna medal and be restored to what they once were. I see vande taking 1st and sweeping captions. if ctj doesnt go then its gonna probably be between rouse, cedar park, and cedar ridge to snag the last medal.

I certainly wouldn't leave Leander out of medal discussions here. They were the second highest placing LISD band in San Antonio finals.

I have faith in Leander and I hope the kids in the program continue the legacy of unbelievably entertaining performances.

Yeah, after seeing what Rouse did this year with ~120 kids, anything can happen. Even if Leander does fall well below the 200 mark, I think they have the experienced upperclassmen to push through and have another great season.
