Does anyone know anything about Kiski's 2019 production? I know they had a reveal last Monday. Also, Vista Ridge announces their show on Tuesday. Norwin announces their show and schedule on Wednesday. Not sure about Kiski, but Norwin will most likely try to keep their production unknown until the season begins like they normally try to do.

I'm picturing rotating soloist platforms similar to those Hebron used in 2015, but table sized. My imagination went wild as soon as I heard the theme. Lots of tables spinning around the field. Lots of solos on top of the spinning tables. Some cool guard work featured that way as well. And evidently there is some mysterious figure in the mix as well. Can’t wait to see how right or wrong I am!

Evidently the mysterious figure is actually a ballerina trapped in a box. But....she gets out.

At the risk of being incorrect, it looks like Campbell County H.S., KY might be performing The Sorcerer’s Apprentice in their show. The arranger posted a little snippet of the score on Instagram and the melody seems to be there.

Looks like Austin Bowie announced their show, it's called The Apotheosis and it just says that the music is by James Horner, Paul Dukas, and David Maslanka
This show is funny to me, because back in early 2017 the directors had fake shows on their whiteboard and one of them was called Apotheosis and was music by Karel Husa and it also had Yackety Sax.

Can't tell you the music though, as IM is no more. An aside, when I was a band kid we played a Karel Husa piece called "Al Fresco" and actually were directed by Mr. Husa himself at a performance of it some university. Mr. Husa is no longer with us so I can say...horrible piece of music. Hated it. And it was such a convoluted collection of random sounds (or so it seemed to us) that a couple of us used to insert a harmon mute and play the lick from Maynard Ferguson's "Carnival" randomly during the piece and our director never once questioned it. We didn't do this when Mr. Husa had the baton however.

Sounds like it needed something!!
