An update on James Bowie’s repertoire (show was announced a few days ago, entitled “The Apotheosis”): Music from Avatar — James Horner Traveler — David Maslanka The Sorcerer’s Apprentice — Paul Dukas Our wind ensemble is currently playing Traveler. It is going to be interesting to see it put on the field. Very cool and difficult piece!

As of now, the sole Class A entry at the Cedar Falls regional. They will surely medal if they don’t win by default. But they are a solid small band. One of the few “innovators” in the state of Wisconsin.

Vandegrift still has the best use of Sound of Silence in memory. The Symphony of Silence was awesome! I absolutely 100% agree with you. Hands down the best.
