Lincoln-Way has some of the best consistent visual design in the country. Right up there with Flower Mound for me. The music, though…It’s coming, but it isn’t there yet. I do think we’re looking at a future GN staple. more of a credit the many bubble groups there than a slight against them, not sure if you did mean a FINALS staple, but that’s a tough nut to crack! Also they might just be a new, recently school opened that I didn’t know was the case. If so, oopsies!!

If you perform late enough on Saturday you don’t have to leave the lot as quickly. I think some of the distant bands use the convention center as well. A few years ago Fishers HS hosted Centerville for the day while waiting for awards. The kids all hung out and had dinner together. Yes that happens as well. Don’t know why that got cut off my reply.

Lincoln-Way did very good! It will be interesting to see where they land at Grand Nats. Speaking of which, Castle did incredibly as well! Their show has such a high demand. I hope it gets there by Grand Nats, I think they have a shot! Grain Valley is so fun. I loved watching them last week and they are that much better this time around. I really think this program has such a bright future. I don't think this is their year in Grand Nats finals, but I have to wonder if they are the next Missouri band we will see make it? Rounding out the top 7, Lafayette HS! I really enjoy this show, and I think they are performing it very well!
Here are my rankings from the first half! 1. Lafayette 2. Castle 3. Grain Valley 4. Goshen 5. Lincoln-Way 6. Union 7. Centerville

Lafayette, I'm sorry I ever doubted you. Amateur Youtube videos be damned. I’m definitely a sucker for a band that marches hard and loves to melt your face off with a wall of sound.

If they keep up this pace, I expect they’ll build up a very nice fanbase that will support them there for many years to come. I’ll be one of them!

Assuming Lafayette is AAA, that means Castle and Goshen were ahead of them in prelims, but I'd have to say I think they outperformed Castle tonight. And even though Grain Valley performed well, I like Lafayette's show better.

Anybody know what could be going on with Lincoln Way's electronics right now? There's a staff member that's been coming on and off the field to do something with the synthesizers throughout the performance. At least that's what it looks like from high-cam. Apparantly the settings were messed up and the instrument settings kept switching- Coming from a LWMB member.

Yes I was looking at classes. Updated numbers I found. Last year they were over 2500 in 9-12 and 1992 9-11 which would be this year’s 10-12. Huge freshman class.

Dan selling Tulsa Oklahoma! 💯 agree! got to live in Tulsa for about half a year or so for work, it’s a nice place for sure, would’ve loved to explore the area and all the bands in the area a bit more too, of course I knew who was down the road 5-10 min away(Broken Arrow👀) but it wasn’t marching season at the time! haha

Just trying to see how it all works with them Correct. They rehearse after school a couple of times a week plus sectionals. Looks like it rotates weekly which school they're at. Students have the option of doing football band only (each school has their own pep band) or competitive band - they do have alternates.

I grew up in Oklahoma City but just moved to Tulsa about a year and a half ago. It's definitely a great place to live, and it does not hurt having some incredible band programs in my backyard! Now to get a BOA regional here...
