Regardless, winning two back to back San Antonio super regionals is absolutely huge. Very few have accomplished this

How about that for chaos??? Hebron losing a caption after that finals run was probably the last thing anyone expected but a huge congratulations to the Woodlands, especially in the first year after major director changes! What a fantastic super regional this has been!

TWHS did indeed BRING IT in their finals performance, probably their best run of the year and giving Hebron a run for their money, excellent work by them! Bodes well for their future endeavors as they’ve transitioned the uncertain waters of a new head director so so well! Very few folks had them this high coming in, myself included😮😦

I knew TWHS had the performance they needed. But going beyond? Had an small inkling, but blew it off. Wow!
Congrats to Hebron! Hard to believe this is only Hebron's 2nd SASR ever and not too long ago we all wondered when it would happen after all the close calls. Another feather in the cap!

The cynical part of me wanted to see The Woodlands beat Hebron by .05.

Amazing competition and congratulations to all the bands. I'm a Round Rock homer and I'm just ecstatic for them. I know they made an all out effort after last year to get back in finals. They'll be going back to GN next year.

This was my daughter's senior campaign for Rouse, and while the results weren't what we wanted, it gave my daughter a family in school and gave me a passion for better understanding marching band, even if I am completely inept musically myself. We'll be back to competitions next year even though she'll move on to college.

The Woodlands did not win a single judge, but they were also the only group that received a 19+ from every single judge.

The Woodlands color guard is just the best in the country this fall, I really don’t think Avon and Carmel could beat them if there was a guard caption. Not only are the technically SO proficient, but every one of them exudes the character of the show just beyond what I have ever seen really!

Vis GE judge tanked Hebron. Had them in 4th, but .7 behind The Woodlands. What was he watching?

Compared to the St. Louis Super Regional and the Indianapolis Super Regional, the finals cutoff was not as tight as I thought it would be.
