My local event that I always look forward to attending! Can’t wait to see what all the bands attending have to offer! I wonder how large both this event and the prosper regional will be the second year of the two DFW regionals being in place!

I’ve not been to this regional since I was a performer almost [redacted] years ago. I might try to pop in for this. It’s probably my most attended regional since I last was a hs performer 5 years ago, still young so I guess I don’t have to [redact] 😂 It’s always a great event and I always have a good time. Much more fun too with friends!! |

Confirmed: Jenks H.S., OK (band website) Potential for a top half spot at this regional for sure, it’ll be great to have a band that everyone in that 5-9 area, and in the bubble have to watch out for and raise their game. They make it an even more competitive contest than it already is👀 Edit: if I were to predict from the potential bands listed to attend, this is going to be the most stacked the BOA DFW event has ever been. In my opinion, lots of great bands, and more importantly, many on the rise that really want to put out their best performance to make that tightening finals lineup! |

Edit: if I were to predict from the potential bands listed to attend, this is going to be the most stacked the BOA DFW event has ever been. In my opinion, lots of great bands, and more importantly, many on the rise that really want to put out their best performance to make that tightening finals lineup! 2006 and 2007 and a non-rained-out 2012 might want to have a word but those may be before your time  |

2006 and 2007 and a non-rained-out 2012 might want to have a word but those may be before your time fair point…and yes they were before my time😂A collection of names that puts the BOA Austin of today to shame that 2012 lineup(would kill to have that contest in mid-season now)😬 I don’t know too much about the ‘06-‘07 landscape to argue for the depth of those competitions, aside from the big names, but i believe this competition this year can get really deep really fast. Already see 6-7 bands that I would consider a lock for finals in the “confirmed” section, and that’s without Coppell, FloMo, Marcus being in there😮 I’ll give you a hypothetical top 18 for this contest rn(no particular order): FloMo, Wakeland, Waxahachie, Jenks, Keller, Timber Creek, Lone Star, Hebron, Marcus, Rock Hill, Coppell, Keller Central, L.D. Bell, Duncanville, Southlake Carroll, Aledo, Lebanon Trail, and either Martin or Highland Park for that last spot. Pretty much down the list you’ll find BOA finalists/State Band participants/State finalists all the way down. Pretty deep if you ask me👀 |
