Looks like Leander filled the assistant director position. Ryan Sirna, Assistant Director at Pflugerville HS, is evidently taking the job. I wish both the Leander program and the Pflugerville program the best of luck in the coming season. It will be an adjustment for both bands. ❤️💙

She said at the concert last week that we would see her around at football games so I am thinking she isn’t going anywhere right now. I could be oh so wrong though so don’t quote me. I wish her the best!!

Both the Chiefs and Royals stadiums are on the east side of the Missouri portion of Kansas City (outside the loop, even). Sporting KC does play in Kansas, however, near the racetrack (again outside the loop west of the Kansas portion of the city).

That’s wild that a program as big as panther creek only has one director. That’ll be a great job for whomever can handle it! Very normal in NC. Very few programs have more than one director at the high school. My "boss" did his Masters degree at Texas Tech and a lot of his fellow Masters students were dumbfounded that he ran a program by himself and was in charge of every ensemble, while all of them were like #3 or #4 directors at their schools and only had one concert band and helped with the marching band.
