I'm not getting the Flo subscription (very busy fall season being at... BOA!), but here's what I've been keeping my eyes on so far (in order of preference) (' denotes not-miss): WEEK 7: St. Louis Waco SoCal Piscataway Is Flo confirmed to have the streaming rights for BOA this season? I saw a post late last year in regards to their stream cutting out during GN Finals on Box5 having their contract for another 2-3 years? I mean if that's true I think that'd be a lot easier & cheaper to watch everything on a monthly subscription rather than paying for each event separately through Box5... or if my memory serves me right, I remember their entire season package was close somewhere around $400. I was on the fence about that California regional before, but I think catching a late season Ayala & a few of those other Cali groups that popped up with the official release sold it for me. Plus, Dartmouth will be at GN & Toledo has a nice northeast presence attending to let Piscataway slip imo

It's probably BOX5 this fall.

Box5 Season pass for BOA is $149. Box5 is a cheaper option if anyone is interest in watching their schools, or their kid where u could pay $15 for only finals or prelims than having to pay $90 for the 3 months

I was only posting Box5 pricing, but looks as if UIL is contracted with The National Association of State High School Associations (NFHS) Network. Although I don't see any UIL events posted on their site yet (unless I'm blind lol) it's $11.99/mo. I only streamed BOA SA last year, so I'm not sure on the quality of the streams from that company if anyone else wants to chime in on that? www.nfhsnetwork.com/states/TX?activity=BandCompetition

They are, however, equipped to produce content and stream it. Good luck enjoying the show! Unless something has shifted drastically within that organization, it's garbage.

They are ok at doing basketball games, but the quality is not great and the audio sucks I would shudder to think what marching band would look much less sound like if there production is anywhere close.to.the basketball games

Flo was awful when they produced BOA events, however, I think that was more about the fact that they were less focused on doing a good job capturing live performances and moreso capturing filler content, which they should have farmed out to another department or vendor to produce. Get ready for amateur hour.. because it really will be that! I will eat crow if it even approaches the mid-tier level of Box5.

FloMarching never focused on content more than streaming, and their issues with streaming are probably more related to the resources afforded to them by the parent company (FloSports does A LOT and band is a relatively small part of that "a lot"). Their streams have improved in quality drastically as well, still not perfect because the demands of streaming from often times very unideal locations are a lot higher than most realize. ' Also to compare stream quality even of old FloMarching (yes, it was quite poor) to the incompetence of NFHS is wild to me. NFHS had nobody on staff with experience in marching band in any way, while FloMarching from the get-go was cofounded by people who had extensive histories in the marching arts from both an performance and educational standpoint.

FloMarching most certainly focused on wrap-around content over execution of the live performance product in a more than adequate way. This has nothing to do with streaming. Some real misses on the freelance hiring side, which figures for a smaller market city like Indianapolis, which can happen to anyone, but some very poor execution nonetheless. Flo's wrap-around coverage was decent. NFHS is likely going to be a train wreck (at worst though, it'll be like watching your kids' soccer highlights with very questionable audio, but let's see what happens! It's good that there are options available for those who cannot attend these events. I do think, however, that people w/ a smart phone may come close to equaling the quality of NFHS' offering.
