I have come up with a few, feel free to add:
1. Can Norwin win regional title number 30? At this point they are only scheduled to go to Toledo. It is possible.
2. Do we finally see a regional champion from the great state of New Jersey? With two regionals in the Mid Atlantic this season it may be possible.
3. Do we finally see a regional champion from the great state of Minnesota? Rosemount will be a strong contender for BOA Des Moines.
4. Broken Arrow will only be attending the BOA Orlando regional this season. Does their winning streak continue? If they beat Tarpon, they will have 17 consecutive regional wins.
5. With so many strong Texas bands in attendance, the number of states represented in Grand National Finals will be low, especially if Texas gets 7 bands in finals. Blue Springs MO and William Mason OH and the Indiana and Texas bands would only mean four states represented in Finals, the lowest ever. Can a band from another state slide into Finals?
6. Can Avon finally pick up Grand National Title number 4? Do they continue their streak of consecutive top three finishes in GN Finals? If so, that will make their 16th consecutive top three finish.
7. Can Carmel tie Marian for GN Title number 7? They will certainly have some tough competition.
8. Did the 1993 Spring TX marching band really put a curse on all non Texas bands so that they can not win the GN Title in a year ending in 3. 1993 - Spring TX: 2003 - Westfield TX: 2013 - The Woodlands TX: 2023 ?
9. If a Texas band does pull off the win, will it be Hebron or The Woodlands, or does another Texas band surprise us?
10. With Tarpon not attending and since Marian has had a steady and enormous enrollment decline (and may even be in Class A), this will be a highly competitive GN for the Class AA Title. Who are the front runners?
11. Will there be a first time GN Finalist this year? Seems Pearland has a decent shot.
12. Just how many Texas bands make GN Finals? Do we get 6 or do we get 7, which would be a record for the most bands from one state in Finals.
