5-8 a toss-up within those 4 spots.

I use the formula called my opinion. Where you look at some of the scores, then add by looking at videos, then divide that by low tier madness add that by hair-pulling madness, then multiply all of it by doing this 6 times because you never charge your laptop in time and lose all progress then square root it by a having fun time + boredom, then divide all of it by watching One Piece EggHead, and it equal this crazy list.

In my first 3 times I did have Franklin, TN for Class AA to represent TN and Mineola, TX for Class A to represent TX but I completely forgot them around the 4th time I did this.

I wanted more Class A so that's why I picked Bourbon County instead of Campbell County which I did have them on my 2-4  times I did this. I could have put Cass, GA for Class AA to represent Georgia, but I wanted to choose a pretty strong Class A for Georgia, George Walton Academy are still amazing they're have less than 20 musicians and the sound they produce is crazy and play so good they have some brave kid.

You named a few of them. Indiana seemed a bit unique, Western is a great band, but a band like Greenfield-Central has been a consistent semis contender, and a band like Decatur Central has been strong for awhile (even if I have no idea how they’re still AA).

Ohio was definitely the one that stood out the most. Carroll had an absolutely fantastic year, but I struggle to find a way to include them on this list. Yes, I know they beat Alter at Obetz, but even if you’re just looking at Class A bands, Alter has been consistently ahead of them. If you’re including AA bands, then you’re looking at Miamisburg, Kings, Worthington Kilbourne, Central Crossing, and others I’m forgetting off the top of my head.

If you take just the Ohio bands that attended GN this past year, Carroll placed 9th out of the bands that attended in A and AA and 4th just in Class A.

Leaving out a band that just medaled in Class AA this past GN for Arkansas also seemed a little unique to me.

I already told I wanted more Class A representation, if I just picked the top lead band from Class AA - A from each state the majority of all the list will be dominated by AA bands no given much Class A bands. So, I picked randomly one class for each state, so that's why I picked Western instead of Greenfield-Central and Decatur Central, and that's why I picked Carroll over most of the 2A band who clearly could have beaten them, and New Providence, NJ (A) instead of Elizabeth (AA) or Fort Lee (AA).

I like LH show and great job on medaling but doesn't mean I have to pick them I just personally think Van Buren's show is better imo, and they didn't compete in GN, so how would you know what they've have placed on November 9-11 of 2023.

Speaking only of my neck of the woods… not sure Bourbon would be our rep. Even if you get past Campbell in the name of 1A representation, there’s still Beechwood and Murray to consider.
