Great job O'Fallon Township! Really love the musicality they display. Excited to see this show again next week at St. Louis!

Let's go Avon! I love Carmel but I am not-so-lowkey rooting for them or Mason to just blow it out of the water.

Avon's use of props is so cool. The way in which they don't seem like they have any but they actually have...a lot of them. It's a good balance and really effective in my eyes. Plus the cool outlined silks, color scheme, Pictures at an Exhibition, etc...the whole package!
I like that show more every time I watch it! Go Avon!!

This is the Avon of the 2010s that I needed. Idk if the box5 mics are turned up, but they are giving that wall of sound that reminds me of the 2010 closer. Good show

That Avon brass...and the band in general. This is my first time seeing them in person and all I've got for feedback is...WOW

Avon’s ability to deliver in finals is unmatched. Shout out to the guard who absolutely killed that run, I love when you can hear every rifle catch like that.

I can't remember what it's called but I know RCR used one the last 2 drum corps seasons. It really riled up the Drum Corps Boomers lol. EWI (Electronic wind instrument), pretty much a saxophone but electronic. It's a pretty cool instrument and I wish more bands incorporate them into their shows. I'm pretty sure RCR used a Yamaha digital saxophone. Broken Arrow used one back in 2003

Are we sure Broken Arrow is in Orlando?
This is the highest praise I can think of giving William Mason. Stunning. Absolutely stunning.

MASON!!!!! That show made me EMOTIONAL! So, so beautiful. I am rooting for that to win it all this year. Just gorgeous playing, gorgeous show design, gorgeous all around!
Some highlights: the CLEAN cutoff at the end of the ballad, the giant flag triangle in the closer - some of my favorite parts.
Just amazing!!

I once again reiterate my request from last year, Lincoln please go to Grand Nationals soon. (maybe not next year though because Macy's) Until they have access to an indoor practice facility, don't hold your breath. I spoke with their director coming off the field and that was the gist of his response. I was on staff at Brandon Valley when I was in college MANY years ago. The football team went to state, so marching band kept going. I ended up having to paint neon orange yard lines on the snow for a late October rehearsal.

Castle left it all on the field tonight and took my breath away. I could feel the raw emotion of their performance even through BOX5. Well done Castle, well done. 100%! That run was absolute FIRE tonight imo. They could have come out dejected and flat but instead focused it into an incredible run that they can leave the field, and this season, knowing they performed something special tonight. It's a performance that they can really be proud of. As for the penalty, it was a bit of both it seems like. The back left DM stand was setup within the endzone (as it has all season including ISSMA Regional) and the T&P judge decided that that was too much to prevent the next group from being able to enter in I suppose. It feels incredibly arbitrary in a way and even if followed to the letter of the rules, 3 points is far too excessive in this day and age when you often get bands separated from like 4th to 7 by mere tenths of a point! I know I'm late to the discussion on this, but I just wanted to see this is egregious. The field, THE WHOLE FIELD, should be allowed to be used by the band that is currently performing. It even annoys me that they allow bands to come onto the field before the previous band is completed with their performance - its distracting. The performing group getting a penalty for something like this is frankly disrespectful to the entire activity.

BUT, I do think they sounded better than Avon tonight. It will all depend on the run Carmel has, and if the judges agree with us. 🤞🏼🤞🏼
