Hey! Thought I’d make a thread about this while I’ve got a question fresh on my mind. If you don’t know what a song is in a marching show but want to know feel free to ask here!
My question is what song is Dobyns-Bennett playing at 8:19? If y’all know it’d be really appreciated!

Really what we need is corpsreps for BOA... Agreed. For this one I went to Will Pitt's website to see the repertoire for the show then checked the piece on youtube, but so many shows are not so easy to find reps for or have music that's changed so much in the arrangement that you can't tell what the source material is.

Maybe we can make something happen. If only we had all the threads from the entire history of the old BOA forums.

Maybe we can make something happen. If only we had all the threads from the entire history of the old BOA forums. That would actually make the project harder - a lot of clicking into threads for not a lot of help... I may or may not have something in the works for this...

I'd love to know what music is being played at 7:53. This is Broken Arrow's 2011 show "Destiny Leaves You No Choice". Thanks!

Anyone know the Ballad from Wando's show this year? Yes, I was just wondering the same thing! Very familiar sounding but can't put my finger on it.

I may or may not have something in the works for this... I may have some obscure details in the old memory banks, as well as recordings on an old hard drive somewhere from back in the 90s/2000s. Would love to contribute (however little) if you are at all in need.

Anyone know the Ballad from Wando's show this year? This is driving me a little crazy, because I know I've heard it before. It sounds very Thomas Newman-esque. Will report back when my old-man brain can connect the dots. Edit: Nevermind, figured it out. It's from the Meet Joe Black film score. Reminds me of another all time favorite performance featuring a Newman piece (Irmo's 2001 show, which featured "So Was Red" from the Shawshank Redemption).

I do wish the announcements always included the full repertoire.
