We talk so often about famous names in the marching band world—but who actually works where? I think it’d be fun to throw out famous designers’ names and see if we can list at least the few biggest groups that each designs for.
Here’s some of the first names that come to mind:
1. Wes Cartwright 2. Carol Britten Chambers 3. Aaron Guidry 4. Lindsey Vento 5. Jaime Holly
Anyone know what programs any of these folks design for? And/or what other big names are out there?

Lindsey Vento and Jaime Holly both work with Vista Ridge, as does Ryan George.

To my knowledge Aaron Guidry was only involved with one band over many years- Ronald Reagan.

1. Wes Cartwright
He's designed for so many groups over the years. Union back in the day, LD Bell, Broken Arrow, William Mason, Harrison, etc...
2. Carol Britten Chambers
Biggest ones that immediately come to mind are Claudia Taylor Johnson and Keller.
3. Aaron Guidry
Ronald Reagan and Broken Arrow. Did some work with LD Bell at least one year. I believe he's worked with Cypress Falls too. Probably several others too.
4. Lindsey Vento
Blue Springs obviously and Vista Ridge this past year.
5. Jaime Holly
Also Blue Springs. LD Bell. Others that I'm forgetting.

Carol Brittin Chambers also writes for Hendrickson and Westlake.
I believe Aaron Guidry did Keller Central this year too.

Vento did an outstanding job with Vista Ridge this past year. That design was one of my favorites all season long. The music book and the visuals where some of the best written and best executed I saw all season. I hope she continues to work with Vista Ridge.
Turning The Tables was beautiful on the field. It was art. Underrated show, even for having placed third. It should get a lot more recognition.

Anyone know how many groups Richard Saucedo writes for? I can think of 3 off the top of my head but I'm forgetting if I heard right for the 4th.

I don't have a current count, but he obviously writes for Carmel. He was (maybe still is) the arranger for Kennesaw Mountain in their glory years. Also he's written for Lake Central (2013!), Vista Murrieta, and many others I'm sure. I'm curious who he currently writes for.

Jeremy Hunt writes the drill for a lot of the top Texas groups, such as Leander, James Bowie, Lake Travis, and has also been designing Lakota East from Ohio’s shows for the past few years. Beyond high school marching, he’s also written drill for Phantom Regiment.

To throw another name in to the mix...I believe Michael Gaines writes drill for a number of bands. I know in Indiana Carmel and Greenfield-Central are using him.

Saucedo wrote for Franklin this year. I doubt that'll happen again.

Vento also worked with North Hardin this past season, I heard on separate forums. Cartwright designed SFA this year too, right? Who ever it was is a genius, completely underrated show, just like Vista Ridge. I agree, Franklin will probably change things up after this season. Who designs and writes BA shows? Did they change recently? It just doesn’t feel like BA anymore. I know Ben Lee also writes for North Hardin, it’s announced at every performance. He writes for a number of other KY bands too.

For BA:
Winds - Donald Hill Battery - Adam Wiencken Front Ensemble - Jim Wunderlich Program Coordinator - Wes Cartwright (is he guard director too?) Drill Design - Leon May (I think)
Let me know if any of that has changed.

Saucedo had a one year stint with Boiling Springs in 2013, I didn’t think that worked well. His concert band music is okay, but most of his marching music isn’t my cup of tea at all.
