Welcome back finally to competitive world class Drum Corps!
I don't know about all of you but I am super excited for the season to get going.
Anything Crown for this season goes here. Enjoy!

Crown's show this year reminds me of that weird stuff the Cadets were doing 2006-2008 but like actually done well.

I used to love Crown's design. But since 2017 I am convinced you could take any grade 4-6 Frank Sullivan show, add brass runs, give it to Crown, and THAT would be better than anything Rick Subel and David Starnes have produced since then show wise.

I really loved Crown the first few times I saw them but my god the voice over is starting to really annoy me.

My guilty pleasure is chanting "right here, right now!" along with them as I listen to the show

Very intrigued to see how this week of cleaning works out for Crown. Can't wait to see how CrownBEAT goes, especially since they will be competing against Boston for the first time this season.

Well, to be fair- you can use a bit of logic that extends through DCI. Crown beat the Bluecoats and it was the second competition for both Corps. The Bluecoats beat Boston by a bit at both of their first competitions. If you extend a bit of Logic and look at trends, Crown should be able to beat Boston since they beat the Bluecoats. I honestly hope they do because I want the toxic Boston fans to be upset when they lose to someone that they have been slotting in 6th place.

Yea not sure what it is but I personally have always had very bad interactions with BAC fans. My interactions are obviously microcosms of a wider community so they can't be taken as gospel, but they seem overly competitive a lot of the time. I know a former Cadets marcher who also had very bad experiences with BAC, but they're both east coast so the rivalry is somewhat expected. I do like BAC this year but not really sure why people have them as medalists, I would be surprised if they're able to beat Bloo/Crown/SCV/BD this year and I would be doubly surprised to see them eclipse cavies so much to the point to where they aren't a threat to their slotting.

Yeah, I honestly think the highest they can feasibly go is 4th but that requires Crown/Bloo/BD/SCV to fall behind and as it stands (and from Crown videos I have seen) Boston just isn’t on the same level as those corps. If you are judging based on scores (realistically) they are the closest Bloo due to the fact that they have gone against them and got 2nd place.
