Does anyone have any details on Broken Arrow’s participation at BOA events for this upcoming season? I don’t see them listed as participating in any events this year (yet?). Checked their band website, and don’t see a calendar that’s accessible to the public.
It’s very possible that I missed something, though!

Orlando is the only BOA Event Broken Arrow is attending this year. Most years they also attend the St. Louis Super Regional, but it interfered with the yearly OBA Competition that happens that week. And just to toss out more information, Broken has a 2-to-1 year rotation for Grand Nats. In 2021 and 2022 they went, so this is their off year.

Thanks for the answers/info. I’m so used to seeing BA at the St. Louis Super Regional and/or Grand Nationals that after I checked all of the other Texas events, I never would have thought to check Orlando’s lineup.
Here’s hoping BA has a great season, as always!

Thanks for the answers/info. I’m so used to seeing BA at the St. Louis Super Regional and/or Grand Nationals that after I checked all of the other Texas events, I never would have thought to check Orlando’s lineup. Here’s hoping BA has a great season, as always! The last time BA did not attend BOA St Louis was in 2012. The reason is because having won Grand Nationals in 2011, they were selected to go to the Rose Bowl the following year. I think they had a provision of only going to two out of state events per school year, so they opted for Grand Nationals in 2012 as opposed to BOA St Louis. At that 2012 BOA St Louis Regional, Owasso won without BA in attendance. So this will be the first time since 2012 that BA does not win St Louis. On a side note; while Blue Springs will be the front runner, I was quite impressed with what Southlake Carroll did at Grand Nats last year, so this may still be competitive at the top.
