Correct me if I'm wrong on this, but I believe current classifications are:
4A Lakota West, Mill Creek, Panther Creek, River Bluff, White Knoll
3A Dobyns Bennett, Green Hope, Lakeside, Mauldin, Science Hill, William G Enloe
2A East Lincoln, Elizabethton, Whitewater
1A Archbishop Alter

Enloe should be 4A they have ≈2000 from grades 10-12 Science Hill is ≈1855 students from grades 10 - 12 so they are in the 4A Class, but are cutting it very close to 3A by ≈5 students so your probably right. Dutch Fork is 3A with ≈1,350 students in grade 10-12, but again it is cutting in Class 2A by ≈25 students River Bluff should be in Class 3A with ≈1600 student in grades 10-12. |

Hmmm… I'm basing it off of U.S. News numbers since I'm lazy to actually search it up, but it seems they had a explosive freshman class last year (773 students) which left them in Class 3A since the freshman class aren't counted. Now that they're sophomores they should have ≈1,973 student in grades 10 - 12 meaning they fit the standards of Class 4A - (1851+ students) |

Confirmed: Franklin County H.S., VA - (MB @ Bands of America ETSU) Source: FCHS Band Calendar I believe it's their first time, but could be wrong They placed 4th again in 2023 Group 3 VMBC Championships, but 17th overall missing Finals They placed 4th in 2022 Group 3 VMBC Championships, but 19th overall missing Finals They placed 5th in 2021 Group 3 VMBC Championships, but 15th overall missing Finals |

Nothing on their Band calendar yet though That is when it is always held so I highly doubt they'll be at Johnson City. I have heard they will be at a different BOA show though. |
