Hello All,
I have recently completed a piece I started in 2007. At that time I was approached by a new Open Division drum corps to arrange a piece. It was about 2/3 completed (without the percussion/pit parts) when I was informed the drum caption took a large chunk of money from the corps and spent it on drugs. Thus ended the corps.
I finished the piece and made it a concert band arrangement. I intend to submit it for publication soon.
But ... I could easily make it back into a marching arrangement for any band who would be willing to pay the royalties and either write or have written for them the pit/percussion parts. I am not a percussionist. I would do this for free.

BTW, the reason I posted it here is because of my history in Indiana marching. My son marched at Castle from 2007 to 2010.

which corps was it? Initially I thought it was Southwind until I saw that this happened in 2007 |

Frankly, I do not remember the name that was settled on. We had several we passed around. I would hate to trust my memory this many years later. The corps never got off the ground due to the embezzlement. We had a name coming out of the Winter meetings, but I cannot remember it.
