Neat show from Simon Kent High School to close out the night. Small band but packs a nice sound for sure, anyone catch their show name? I missed it. I believe it is "VooDoo”

Is the crowd doing the wave or something? Their cheering clearly has nothing to do with thanking the representatives from Bob Rogers Travel, which is what the announcer is currently doing.

Unless they had some sort of bizarre penalty, no way based on that performance. Closer to being in Finals than being out of Semis.

Depends on who you are and how much you like watching band crazy early in the morning I remember somebody on the MfA forums once did an explanation of the maximum number of bands possible in Semis. Anybody have that figure handy?

Seems like the administration realized they needed to make a special plea for the audience to pay attention "for the next 30 minutes".

Anyone else as they are watching all of these performances start wondering where they have heard a certain piece of music before? As I try to focus on the show my mind is running through BOA, DCI, WGI etc trying to figure out who played/ used it... lol

I would guess that Leander (AAA), Marian Catholic (AA), North Hardin (AA) and Bourbon County (A) would likely make it in the top 30 on score so the number of bands might be 38. Based on the published scheduled, that would mean the first band would start at 6:15 am!!! Lot time of 4:15 am! As a pit crew dad, I pray for all the parents and supporters that will get up and help their bands at that early morning to make sure their kids have the best performance possible!

It’s nice seeing some of these uniforms up close. They’re very well designed and all have their own detail to them.

The tentative schedule start of 7:00a accounts for 36 semifinalists. 6:15a would mean 39 semifinalists unless they add an extra 15 minute break

Lakota West, nice.
And Miamisburg. And Milford. And Norton. Whoa! And Forest Hills.
And Centerville and Mason, of course.
Seven from Ohio, not bad.
