Not the same- but they’ll still have virtual competitions. And I’m hoping local circuits still are able to have local competitions.

However I feel they may go “All-Scholastic” since many Independent Groups may not run now. I’m not sure if it will be all Scholastic or not as I have seen notices for tryouts for the Independent guards posted on Instagram. Of course this news from WGI could quickly curtail whatever season the Independent groups had been planning. I guess we wait and see. Texas has several color guard circuits so maybe we will see some live performances after all. I hope so.

Seems rather premature, considering that the vaccines are projected to be available prior to then. Good for them though in being mature, unlike BOA, and just calling it for the sake of their member groups.

If you’re referring to the 2021 BOA Season, I don’t think that BOA is out of line for saying the season’s on, as it’s a whole year from now and I’m on their side, with the future looking brighter by then, not to mention no schools have mentioned decisions on the 2021-22 School Year. Some schools however are struggling with the decision of the second semester of their school year. There’s a lot of hope riding on that it will be safer by the second semester, but as we’ve learned from this virus, anything can happen.

No, only referring to BOA 2020, not 2021. They should absolutely have a season in 2021. If they wuss out and cancel that one, might as well just close up for good, IMO.

They might have to without a choice. Which is why I think they’re going to go through with it. Also I thought you meant the 2020 season at first, just making sure either way.
