Is this the end of FloMarching?!! I hope they can handle the BOA events better than FloMarching did. While it was nice to be able to stream shows that were out of my region, Flo left a lot to be desired when it came to quality of production. Does anyone know if pricing is similar?

Better sound quality too. Iโve been hoping for a change like this!

I would expect FLO to continue to partner with DCI & WGI. I will give them credit for attempting to jam pack in a lot of material, but they performed quite poorly in primetime. Smoke & mirrors.

It's less likely now that we'll get wrong title cards for each band. No more mixing up Lincoln Way with Centerville or Clear Brook with Ronald Reagan. And that's just a small sampling ๐คฃ

And that's just a small sampling ๐คฃ Audio that sounds like you're listening through soup cans and a string, 15 second long camera shots of the kid on rack counting their rests, missing a big visual moment because the director decided to switch at the last second to the on field person swinging their camera around, shots of the crowd in the middle of a performance etc etc etc Oh and lets not forget always blaming their customers when there are issues with the stream freezing or dropping. Even though I can stream 4K from Netflix no problem its definitely my fault that their maximum 480p "HD" stream has constant problems. Thank goodness BOA has at least come to their senses

The worst moments for flo were that first year of 2016, my goodness San Antonio and Atlanta were almost unwatchable with how poor the audio quality was. Grand Nationals that year seemed slightly better but not by a lot.

While it was nice to be able to stream shows that were out of my region, Flo left a lot to be desired when it came to quality of production. Does anyone know if pricing is similar? From what it looks like, you can pay by the event ($25 for a Regional / $35 for Super Regionals), Partial event ($15-20 for prelims only or finals only), or a season pass for all BOA events for $149.

It's just disappointing that I now have to pay for two different (not cheap) streaming services if I want to watch both BOA and DCI. I did find out yesterday that Flo will change my annual subscription into monthly and refund the remaining amount, so I'm able to only pay monthly during DCI season instead of for the entire year. So there's that.

Box5 is great, but YIKES thats way more expensive than the 30 dolars I would spend for a month of flomarching to get the entire end of season contests. ๐ฌ
Im not sure I can justify spending the money.

Per Box5-TV's Q&A section:
"Some events are available for viewing after the live stream. While we strive to offer every single event and every single performance in our library. Some music rights donโt allow it. BOX5+ is updated as we receive permission. Subscriptions are available to watch the content we have available.
As always, educational content and interest pieces are always free on BOX5-TV".
Does anyone know if they only stream live? Will they archive shows, even for a short time?

I contacted them last week about options for watching. They told me I can purchase a pass for Grand Nationals only, or I can purchase for the entire season. I asked specifically if they had an option for St. Louis Super Regional, and they said no, that BOA wasn't allowing that, only nationals or the entire season. Now I'm wondering if I was lied to or if BOA changed their mind from what was originally said this summer.

I can go on the website and purchase on St.Louis as an option (Prelims 1 only, Prelims 2 only, Prelims 1+2, Finals Only, or Both Prelims/Finals).
