Is there any way to adapt the functionality of quoting so that it is obvious where the quote ends and the new information begins? Right now, there is nothing except a gap of one line between the end of a quote and the beginning of new content. If there are line gaps within the quoted material it could get very confusing.

I’ll look into it. Just used the barebones theme to get it up quickly, haven’t really had time to customize much.

I was wondering as well if that was a customizable option or if the format is even changeable at all. Also wondered how to go to the newest post in an existing thread rather than always having to start at the beginning of each thread I click on. That could be an ID 10 T error on my part though.

Not quite an ID 10 T error - just click on the little "new" icon next to the thread title.

This place sure has been dead lately! You'd think it would pick up with the fall season already pretty much underway.

There is no link off of the main page, so it's still a pretty small group of people. The main page has not been updated for awhile either. Still many regionals not updated with a participant list. It's almost like Jeremiah actually has other things to do.

Is there a way to look at forum archives from previous years? This forum is brand new so there are no previous years!

Is there a way to look at forum archives from previous years? If you're talking about BOA forums, check the historic threads over at the History sub-forum here. If you're talking about Buff's incredible BOA history threads.... (with a heavy heart) they're gone forever. MFA said they'd dig them up, but nothing has happened.

The Wayback Machine might help with the threads from the old forums but I wouldn't count on MFA doing anything. They probably had everything dumped shortly after they shut down public access.

Yes the BOA History thread on the MFA forums are gone forever. They are being rebuilt to a degree on this forums page. I am also saving my write ups, which I should have done before.

You can access a cached version of the forums from November, but no threads work.

The forum navigation is painful for me. To navigate between sections I have to scroll all the way back up to to the top of the page then select where I want to go. Clicking through pages the only option is at the top of the page as well (at least it is in a frame so I don't have to scroll all the way back up). If there were a navigation tree at the bottom of the page it would be a major improvement.
Access to notifications are just horrible. You want to get to notifications quickly. Here you see that you have notifications by the number on the profile link, so you click on it, then you have to click notifications, then the link on the notification is just to the thread not the post. Notifications should be front and center, then quickly accessed to go directly to the item you are being notified about.

On mobile, there are "back" and "top" button at the bottom of the page for easy navigation. On the desktop site, page numbers for navigation within a thread follow the top of your screen. If you click on the number of notifications, it takes you right to the list.

It is when I am finished with that thread and I want to go back to list of sections or a different section. There is no quick way to do that here
