6 touched down within 15 miles of me, crazy stuff. Long track wedge was on the ground >50 miles. Areas hit hard include Northmont and Beavercreek districts. Luckily, looking like injuries and fatalities are minimal. Just a TON of building and infrastructure damage. 65k without power today. --------------------------------------- That's sad. I don't expect this pattern to really let up anytime soon. Yeah the high is moving farther east and there isn't a stated severe risk past day two on the spc page, but with how things have gone during the last two weeks I wouldn't be surprised if we see any more tornadoes each day.

Bumping this thread up five years later due to another dangerous weather setup in Oklahoma. Thinking about not only our friends in Oklahoma, but in Kansas, Nebraska, & Western Missouri. Have multiple ways to receive warnings and stay weather aware!

Bumping this thread up five years later due to another dangerous weather setup in Oklahoma. Thinking about not only our friends in Oklahoma, but in Kansas, Nebraska, & Western Missouri. Have multiple ways to receive warnings and stay weather aware! Things are getting ready to kick off here in central OK. There's been multiple touchdowns so far and lots of hail and flash flooding. Stay safe my Okie friends! First SPC high risk in OK since 2019

What’s crazy is I’m the one who started this thread in 2019 and now I live up here in NW Arkansas, practically on the Oklahoma border! I’ve been up watching our local weatherman live on Facebook and waiting for things to let up some before I feel safe enough to go to bed. It’s currently hailing outside so it’ll be awhile! 😬
