I'm interested to see how Deer Creek fares here. From what I have seen of them, they are definitely not playing around. With such a stacked competition, I didn't really think they would be a semifinals contender, but this is about the only scenario where it just might be possible.

The schedule lists 113 bands. That's the average of participating bands listed earlier and the number Allohak and I heard at dinner preceding the Toledo Regional.

Any advantage (or disadvantage for that matter) of going last in prelims? I know it can have an advantage at regionals, but that’s obviously on a much smaller scale, and with the 2 panels, wasn’t sure if there was much of anything, just a performance slot.

I think I'm going to be making the trek to Indy this year. Anything a first-time attendee should know? Only other BOA event I've attended was the 2018 Canton regional.

Downtown Indy is under construction.

No noisemakers, vuvuzuelas or missile-like objects are allowed in Lucas Oil Stadium.

The Starbucks at 14th and Capitol opens at 4:30am, if you need good coffee before the first band.

Lucas Oil is entirely cashless - there are machines in the west side concession area to turn cash into a card that will work at the stands
