The real season begins now! Just quick thoughts on these:
- Friendswood could be a contender for AAA, but gonna have to see if Dobyns-Bennett comes back.
- I fully expect Broken Arrow & Tarpon Springs to be here next year.
- Thought Prosper was confirmed for next year too, but I might've been seeing things.

Friendswood is not confirmed. They are still in the midst of fundraising, after this is over they will confirm or deconfirm.

The 2024 calendar stalking begins! Well actually, in about a month and a half once the 2024 BOA event schedule is released. But here's your preliminary lineup as of 3.7 seconds after 2023 Finals awards! It should be mentioned that about half of the "Confirmed" bands - specifically, the small school bands - aren't necessarily officially confirmed, but they have attended every year for at least the last four years or more without fail, making it safe to say they will be there. Indian Hill, OH attended for 29 consecutive GNs through 2021. We haven't seen them since. |

Doubt we’ll see Lincoln-Way as they’ll be at the Rose Parade in ‘25.. We might see a few new Illinois suburban groups though.

I have no tea on this, but I must say there are some certain Oklahoma groups that are long overdue for a Grand Nationals return. Big retweet here. Broken Arrow, Mustang, Jenks, Owasso, Union are all overdue. I wouldn't be surprised to see other groups make the trip (Deer Creek, Southmoore, Sapulpa, etc.) Fingers crossed for an Oklahoma invasion of Grand Nats 2024! |

I saw somewhere in the summer, and I don't remember where I found it, and I could be wrong that Madison Central (KY) was planning to go GN 2024.

I would not be shocked to see blue springs back. Unless they have a surprise parade announcement at their showcase concert or banquet in the coming months. They went to Hawaii and Macy’s recently, next up would generally be rose parade since it’ll be 10 years. Unless they have an odd Ireland trip or a inaugural parade (who would want to be in that nowadays.) They went back to back in 2017/2018. With their success last night we may see them change their usual schedule.

A pair of Texas rumors I saw on the TXBands forums. Again these are just rumors, so take them with a grain of salt.
- Pearland is planning on coming back again next year. A little bit skeptical on this one since they just went, but could be plausible considering UIL 6A should be the week before Grand Nationals.
- Forney is planning on attending Grand Nationals soon. Maybe not next year, but within the next couple years.

I would guess if they do the Rose parade they will probably not attend GN in 2025. The Rose Parade costs more than an Indy trip- and contrary to lots of people that think they are rolling in the money- they aren’t. The parents work concessions and scrimp and save and budget for everything they pay for. Their district also limits out of state trips to once every 2 years per program… so they would have to get special permission to break that rule. |

Should we expect a change in the woodland's normal every other year schedule since they are going to the rose parade in 2025? The 2025 Rose Parade would be more likely to impact a band's attendance at GN in 2024. TWHS rotation would be scheduled for 2025. |
