I can't wait for all of the Indiana heavy hitters to return, including some who plan to return with a vengeance. I would love to see Noblesville, Goshen, Evansville North, Greenfield Central, Greenwood, Edgewood, Jasper, Western, and maybe Concord loved their last year show. I'm excited!  |

Once again, rumors from the depths of the TXBands forums. As always, take these with a grain of salt.
- Vandegrift attending next year may not be "off the table" as stated in an earlier post. I still have reserverations about this rumor since 6A State to Grand Nats would be a very quick turnaround next year but it's been done before.
- Bridgeland is "all but confirmed" but again still a rumor. They had a booster meeting last evening but it is unknown if a Grand Nats trip was discussed.
- Both Leander & Rouse are considering attending, but nothing set in stone.

Wylie is a surprise, to be sure, but a welcome one. I thought they got a fraction of the credit they deserved at state, all around a very solid band. Iām mainly surprised as theyāve never really gone āall inā on BOA, just the odd regional here or there.

I would love to see some Louisiana and Mississippi bands. š©Ā Dutchtown won States with their Wednesday show, and Central Lafourche both on the up and up, and Lafayette in 3rd at States with a beautiful show as well, St. Amant, and E.D. White Catholic which is the perfect contender for Class 1A who placed in top 8 at States. Imagine South Jones, DeSoto Central, and Hernando, Central Lafourche,Ā w/Jenison, Morton, Catawba and maybe Kiski I would explode As fun as this would be, I doubt we see kiski three years in a row tbh. |

Would love to see a couple CA bands like Chino Hills, Vista Murrieta, or James Logan try to make the trip but costs may still be too prohibitive for a west coast band to travel to Indy at the moment. Vista Murrieta I think is the most likely candidate. James Logan, I can say with near 100% certainty, will never attend Grand Nationals. They are not a wealthy school and often only compete within CA four or five shows a year to keep travel costs low. I know about a decade ago it cost Ayala $250,000-$300,000 to make the GN trip. That's IN ADDITION to all your regular season expenses, and I'm sure the cost has only gone up since then. |

No rumors from me tonight, but it crossed my mind awhile ago that next year will mark 10 years since Wakeland's last (and to my knowledge only) appearance at Grand Nationals. I would really like to see them make the trip to Indy again soon.

Ik this is completely off topic, but Iāve been looking for a video of either of Lovejoyās performance from boa Prosper, so if anyone is either/both and could dm me, Iād be very appreciative. Ik they went on very early in prelims and were only an exhibition band for finals so if not no worries.
