I'm not sure why BOA hasn't updated the event listing yet.

Also, at this point, they should just cancel the Southeast Region show. If you’re not gonna announce it or have a date and site finalized when it’s almost May and only 6 bands are signed up, why delay the inevitable? Surely there’s a good reason but it feels so disorganized. Most directors probably want their schedules almost finalized at this point.

Here's an interesting update...unless I'm blind or IT fails (either of which is possible), California looks to be removed from the schedule, but remains on the "current enrollment" page.

Either they actually dropped it, or it's a possible date confirmation and the guy updating it hasn't published it yet?

It's not blindness on your part. I see the same omission on the schedule page. In the past, there have been examples of something disappearing and then being elsewhere on the page later. They seem to publish sequential updates rather than a single update on occasion. Hopeful that this is what has happened here.

The California Regional has now been added back to the schedule page.
November 2 at Etiwanda H.S.
Interestingly, the Conway event (broadly accepted to be on October 12) is still listed as TBD.

It's official - MFA has listed Conway on October 12 on the enrollments page (but the schedule page still shows it as tbd). and the schedule page (several hours later).
The only event not assigned a date or location is the Southeast Regional.

Latest changes to enrollment numbers as of 5/6
Obetz down to 28 Shenandoah up to 25 Bedford down to 23 Chattanooga down to 27 (from a high of 33) Birmingham up to 9 (picking a date worked for getting some traction) Conway up to 28 (max enrollment) St. Louis down to 69 Orlando up to 23 Etiwanda up to 16 San Antonio up to 72

I thought initially that the Birmingham date would be conflicting with other SE regionals in the area, but Chattanooga is the week before and the only other major BOA event that conflicts is Conway, which is good because Conway generally serves a different pool of competitors (with minor overlap in Georgia). I think Birmingham will safely make at least a full 14 bands when all is said and done.

They updated enrollment numbers for the second straight day. Las Cruces - up to 15 McAllen - up to 21 Midland - up to 18 Flagstaff - up to 18 Birmingham - up to 11 (looking positive for thewho to be correct about reaching at least 14) St. Louis - back up to 70

Incidentally, an email about the Moscow show was sent to directors. Here’s an excerpt:
“Good afternoon,
This email serves as exciting news that the Bands of America Idaho Regional Championship enrollment fee is being reduced. As a way to encourage more participation from the region, we are making the enrollment fee for this regional $450, instead of the usual $875 enrollment fee.
Right now, we have 5 bands enrolled in this show, and we are hoping for 15. If you have any friends in the area, we would appreciate your help in getting them to enroll. We are committed to serving bands in the Pacific Northwest, and want each band to have the best experience possible.”

I really do believe a stalwart, successful regional is possible in the PNW if they just allow it to grow for a few years. MFA's investment into this region truly has to begin from the ground up, and I hope they stick with it.

St. Louis up to 71 San Antonio down to 71 With Indianapolis still over-subscribed at 90, we're looking at the possibility of San Antonio being the least attended (based on number of bands, not the crowds that will surely be there) Super Regional. Anyone want to venture a guess the last time THAT happened?
