Curious to hear people’s rankings now that we’ve seen many of these heavy-hitters attend other BOA competitions this year. I smell lots of surprises brewing! My brother/sister in Christ/whatever deity you prefer, we need Sunday to rest and recover. 😂 |

The Echos of Hope show and Pardisium show they were booking it. Also of course Fearless in 2019. They were moving a lot in the Candide show too. But yes DB is def park n barking a lot here - but they look so confident. It could hurt them by GN kinda like 2018, but their guard is so good im not sure it will make a huge difference. |

Clover is looking clean as well, they’re really big this year - they might be one of the biggest in SC. The props seem a bit meh compared to last year but their using a lot of the field

Thank you for posting that video and allowing me a second read on DB. comparing that video to the stream, the stream was terrible quality. It made the opening hit sound muddy and chaotic, and it wasn’t. Am I 100% sold on their show yet? No, but it’s early October. We still have over a month left. Loooking great so far, we’ll see DB on Saturday night on Nov 16

James F. Byrnes will be attending the Johnson City regional (per Moss).
Supposedly BOA is restructuring the entire schedule which should be up maybe sometime tomorrow...guess we'll see.

Enloe has different plans depending on where they finish at Conway this weekend. They could be here at Johnson City as planned, or they could be at Piscataway. I’ll know more next week!

Sadly reporting that Travelers Rest will not be there, we'll be at Hart County GA instead. 8ish hours to make it to JC with a 8:30AM performance time just would have been an absurdly long day. We'll be back next year (Conway/Johnson City probably)!

I know it is wrong to compare across different contests with different sheets, but I think we may be able to discount the bandBEAT scores for Clover. Daniel's finish at Alabama was still impressive, but I have a hard time believing Clover would have not pulled ahead there had they attended.
However, the bandBEAT scores do tell that while Daniel and Clover were close in music and visual, Daniel ran away with GE. And that does make sense looking at Clover's show - it is pretty plain Jane.
