Old school trumpet has to stop with their insistent homestead bashing! They could breathe and he’d say hmmm not good enough thirteenth! He needs to stop bashing this one program
I’ll fight you! I’m old. I don’t care!
Bashing anyone's program is not cool! All these kids work their tails off and to even get here is an feat
I think Ayala is in. Harrison is right on the edge. I don’t have a great feeling about homestead but I wouldn’t be shocked either way - they’re close. I think Union is out. Rockford wouldn’t surprise me either tbh

Guard note! Seen some fantastic programs here this weekend! I believe we have 9 SW programs in semis currently, correct me if I’m wrong (Avon, Carmel, Miamisburg, PCEP, Fishers, Park Vista, CTJ, The Woodlands, and Ayala). And some pretty amazing SO and SA programs too like Ben Davis and Homestead. Love seeing everyone’s choreography and book!

Everyone saying that oldschooltrumpet is bashing on Homestead is severely misinformed. While he overdoes it a bit at times, I think it is a breath of fresh air for someone to be more critical of their program than it is think that every thing their program does is flawless and constantly rave about it on here.

I don't know where we draw the line between criticism and "bashing," but I think as long as criticism is made in good faith people shouldn't worry. Performers don't need to be protected from audience opinions. You can say that judges should judge and audience members should just sit back and be entertained, but I feel that services no one.
The one and only thing I tend to censor myself on is criticizing soloists, because it's hard to tell sometimes if a soloist is bad or just nervous.
Bubble watch. Assuming Avon, Carmel, Mason, and the Texas Six:
Ayala Harrison Union
In that order.
Homestead in 13th again.
anyone believe fishers as bubble or solidly out?
I have to think Fishers is out. Solid show, but nothing that stands out, and going first in the 22 didn’t do them any favors. It’s be a tough in for Fishers, but it’s not out of the question.
With the amount of talent that has been brought by these semi-finalists bands is insane! The competition between the regulars and the texas bands are going to be tough to predict. Not to mention that the bands fighting to get in finals is also a tough call with how many of them we've been dying to see in finals but it's hard to choose due to the great runs all these programs have had so far. As much as I would love to see my PV kids make finals, I wouldn't be surprised by any of the results that come up later tonight as this is probably one of, if not the best semifinals I've seen at Grand Nats. Bravo to all the bands who've made it this far and I wish nothing but the best for the best.
Can you chill? Don't know who you are, but you're gonna give PV a bad name.
He has been praising PV in all his posts and defending those that were not to kind. This is a forum to discuss the bands. Think you should chill parkvistadad !

Is it better to emote to the stands (big gestures and expressions) or to play as if you're going to be seen on a camera close-up -- as you will be on the video display?
