I was not listening when they started playing the montage and had the High Cam on. Was wondering why it was dead silent and thought my video feed froze haha

Ok the montage really should be discarded - let’s get on with the scores Or at least cut in half, better edited, and with snappier music. This is deadly dull.

Wow I didn't realize Union had that many finals appearances. 2019, 2017, 2014, 2011, 2010, 2000, 1998, 1995, 1990, 1989, 1986, 1981

Drum Majors (and guard captains) trying to dress a large arc. Awkward.

Which band do we think will be getting the Al Castronovo Esprit De Corps award? It went to Claudia Taylor Johnson H.S.

You can’t have a band without an actual colorguard WIN BOA Grand Nationals. #TeamIndiana #Avon This is extremely condescending to the hard work I imagine Vandegrifts dance team puts into their show. You are ok to support Indiana, that’s fine they had a very great showing tonight after all good shows all around, but don’t cheer on a program at the expense of another It was not “condescending” at all. Their dance team was AMAZING, but I didn’t comment on them at all. There is no colorguard.

If I were king of the judges: 1. Vandegrift M,V(t),E 2. Avon V(t) 3. Hebron 4. Carmel 5. Lady Bird Johnson 6. Leander 7. The Woodlands 8. William Mason 9. Homestead 10. Round Rock 11. Union 12. Ayala So the judges agreed with me for #12, #11, #4, #3, #2, and #1. Also they concurred with where I would bestow Visual (except I had it tied) and Effect. But relative to my preferences, they switched #10 with #9, #8 with #7, and #6 with #5. Also I had Vandegrift not Hebron for music.

Incredibly deserving. Not an easy feat to show up and win your first time there. Way to go, Vandegrift!

Congrats to Vandegrift.
The last time a band won the Grand National title in their first trip was in 1979; Sylva-Webster, NC
