No offense to my home state of Texas, but why does Box5 have an advocate for all Texas bands making it to Finals?

I don't have a schedule, but Bourbon County made top 22! The class reps were Estill County, Beechwood, and Miamisburg.

Keller has a tragic placement aswell. However if they do as good as I believe they will it could help them a little.

Really surprised that Lawrence is in the Top 22 while Carroll and Homestead are the "other 8". They must have had a fantastic run cause Carroll and Homestead certainly did!

Don't think it is top 22 anymore, it is just the 22 who were top 11 on their panel Yep, kind of like Super Regional advancement, but as you said, top 11 from each panel and the next 8 highest scoring regardless of panel |

No offense to my home state of Texas, but why does Box5 have an advocate for all Texas bands making it to Finals? Not a good look for Box5. It is a perfectly fine look for Box 5. He is an individual commentator that has his own taste and team he’s rooting for the same as any sports caster. Plus Texas >>>>>>>> |

Certainly doesn’t help that Homestead was the 2nd band to perform in their panel. I’m just glad they made it at this point. I was hoping it wasn’t goikg to be a repeat of Indy regionals last year 😳 |

Don't think it is top 22 anymore, it is just the 22 who were top 11 on their panel Emphasizing this for those who didn't see it, as I believe this was one of the big changes. Being in the "22" block does not mean you were top 22 overall anymore. It just means you were top 11 in your panel. It's entirely possible that Lawrence Township was 11th in their panel and performing in that "22" block, but really had the 28th highest score in prelims. With that change, it's also equally as possible that Homestead and Carroll finished in the teens but were outside their panel's top 11. |
