We're less than a month away from the 2024 BOA Schedule being released. Right now, the only event with dates set is Grand Nationals from Nov. 14-16. So I decided to make this thread to compile any rumors and predictions for the 2024 BOA Schedule. Eventually, once the schedule is released at Midwest, this will be the official thread to discuss the schedule.
So to start I'm going make a schedule prediction. Once again this is pure speculation and what I think the schedule might look like. But pending some football schedule releases, I don't see the schedule changing much for next year with the exception of one potential addition. I've also added some ISSMA & UIL dates to show where it could conflict with some BOA regionals.

October 26th:Waco, TX Piscataway, NJ Argyle H.S., TX seems to believe the Waco regional will occur the following week, on 11/2. I wonder who is wrong here? Some other bands have the Grand Nationals dates confused, so it's not unusual. Per West Orange H.S., NJ, the Piscataway regional will once again be held at Rutgers. |

I really wanna see a western super regional. Potential bands from Utah, Cali, Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico, Colorado, Wyoming, Idaho, Oregon and Washington, plus friends to the east as well. Probably held in a place like Las Vegas or somewhere around there. But if that happened, would the Utah regional get taken away?

Obligatory S/O for an Oklahoma or northwest Arkansas regional 🙌🏼 Put one at Razorback Stadium in Fayetteville, the football Hogs usually have a bye week right around Halloween. Or Tulsa. I think that could have Broken Arrow, Jenks, Bentonville, Nixa, Fayetteville, Bryant, Cabot, Conway, Lake Hamilton, Greene County, Paragould, Blue Springs, schools from NE TX, Memphis area, KC area, Van Buren [?] is an hour down I-49, Arkadelphia... there's a LOT of schools within a three hour radius. I second the motion, FWIW. |

Central Ohio (Obetz) and Northwest Ohio (Toledo) are both accessible enough to the Southwest Ohio bands who want to attend a regular regional (as is Louisville). |

With the Welcome Stadium renovations completed, I REALLY hope the Dayton Regional returns to replace Louisville. Logistics at Louisville are just awful for the bands and the stadium is cavernous and right in the flight path for the airport. Just a terrible location. |

Better location logistically for parking the trucks and buses for 30 bands along with warmup areas where sound doesn't bleed into the stadium, not so much. Centerville meets the criteria but is Dayton-adjacent, not Cincinnati. |

Am I wrong to say Obetz is perfectly fine as is? Even if it’s not perfect, it’s right in the middle of Ohio, allowing for a surplus of surrounding groups to travel there. Not the greatest trip for faraway groups, which is when I can understand having Toledo and Cincinnati…one for the north, one for the south.
Also, I don’t think taking away competitions is the solution. No one wants to take stuff away when you have the ability to run multiple in the first place. That’s just me tho 🤷
